18 Employees Graduate from CNUC Leadership Academy

Congratulations to the newest CNUC Leadership Academy graduates! From June 19 through 22, employees gathered in West Des Moines, Iowa, for our 5th annual Leadership Academy. The academy is a week-long program consisting of training, brainstorming and team building. The week ended with a little fun as the employees took part in Tree Climbing 101 led by Regional Supervisor Mark Harwick.

Hear what employees had to say about their Leadership Academy experience.

“I have been involved in multiple facets of business in my professional career and the CNUC Leadership Academy was the first I have seen a company recognize and invest in individuals that have potential to become the industry’s best. I will use the lessons learned to improve myself, those around me and CNUC as a whole for years to come. It was definitely an honor to be chosen to participate. I only wish I could participate every year!”

– Brian Beauchamp, Consulting Utility Forester

“It was great overall. It’s great to have a family oriented atmosphere and feeling within the company you work for. I’m extremely happy with my position as I feel like I have a strong support system within the team at all times. CNUC is an outstanding company!”

Jake Clark, Lead Consulting Utility Forester

“I really enjoyed my time and appreciated the opportunity to attend the Leadership Academy. I learned a lot and gained a better understanding of how CNUC operates. I was happy to hear that other employees beyond leads and supervisors will have the chance to attend in future years. This will be good for employee morale and show a commitment to everyone as employee owners. Thank you!”
